Adrian Toomes, portrayed by Michael Keaton, appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the supervillain Vulture. He is first seen in the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Toomes is initially a salvage worker who, along with his crew, is contracted to clean up after the Battle of New York. When Damage Control, a joint venture between Tony Stark and the U.S. government, takes over, Toomes loses his livelihood. Bitter and resentful, he and his crew decide to keep the Chitauri technology they salvaged.
Using the advanced alien technology, Toomes constructs a winged flight suit, becoming the Vulture. He leads his crew in selling modified alien weaponry on the black market. This puts him into direct conflict with Spider-Man, leading to several dangerous confrontations throughout the movie.
